How to Take Advantage of Stupid People

“You have to go on and be crazy. Craziness is like heaven.” Jimi Hendrix

I was sat in my conservatory with a beer and decided to start a business. Now, big companies have things that I wrote on their website. That’s crazy to me.

They do this because they are more stupid than me – when it comes to writing.

When I was a chef people paid me to cook for them, because they couldn’t do it as good.

Another time when I was sat in my conservatory with a beer, I started this blog. Now, when I write an article people all over the world read it. That’s crazy to me, too.

Everybody sucks at something

And all humans are stupid. Whether we like it or not, we are.

I can’t fix anything around the house. I call a man in to fix the things that break. I don’t care if that makes me less manly. I’m stupid when it comes to DIY and I’m fine with that.

I focus my attention on the things that I can do that others can’t – that’s how great things happen for me, and how they can for you, too.

I look at what I have the potential to be great at, then I consider the problems that I could solve with that talent. That is all you need to know if you want to change your scene…

Your scene means just that – what you do with your life is your scene in the movie of life.

The bad news is, it can be quite short. The great news is, you can have as many scenes as you choose. And people will pay attention to all of them.

Life is an act

If someone asked you, ‘what’s one crazy thing that you actually believe to be true?’ what would your answer be?

Mine is – life is just an act. I think I get to choose who I am going to be in my own scene. If one day I decided that I was going to be a pilot, a doctor, a lawyer, whatever, I think that I could do it.

I think I could convince most employers to give me any random job by playing that part in the interview.

I honestly think that I could ‘act’ any part that I choose in my own scene of life. And people would pay me for it. I have no right to write for the companies that pay me for it, but I convinced them that they need me.

That’s powerful. It’s incredible really. That’s why I think it’s crazy.

How do I get more crazy?

You just do it. Get a customer first, or – convince your first person.

What do you really want to do with your life, and what are you good at?

The only thing stopping you is you. That’s because you’re stupid and you think that the people who would pay you are smart and don’t need you.

This isn’t true.

Whatever it is you can do, people out there will pay you for it. Or give you the attention that you deserve. It doesn’t just happen though, you have to put in the work…

Your job is to put yourself into your new scene relentlessly. To constantly learn and be convincing over your craft. And to find a problem that you can solve for people, or business.

If this scares you, try to believe what I believe. Life is just an act…

Go out there and play any part that you want to play

No one has any right to do what they do, but those who achieve the things that they want in life play their chosen part with conviction.

Change your scene and make it an all-time great. Enjoy the process of crazily convincing the world. It’s great fun if you think you can do anything and you believe that no one can judge you for it.

Remember that everyone else is just as stupid as you. Make them stand up and take note. Take advantage of them with confidence…

Don’t be stupid enough to miss out on your one chance to be crazy.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
